Why: Help support Riverfront Playhouse
Details: Plans are under way for Renaissance Redding’s eighth annual High Tea event. This year’s tea theme is “The Play’s the Thing” and proceeds will support the Riverfront Playhouse. Riverfront is in its third year of a capital campaign to move the theatre to a new 184-seat state-of-the-art facility at the corner of Pine and Placer Streets, creating a theater district in downtown Redding. The property is in escrow and architectural plans have been drawn. This new theaterwill provide more productions and a venue for other performing arts groups, films and events.
Host/hostess hopefuls: Host/hostesses decorate tables and invite guests to fill a table for eight, and Renaissance Redding does the rest.
Prices: Ticket price for each guests is $30 each. (No charge to table hosts/hostesses.)
