Next Saturday is Valentine’s Day, and you’d better make those dinner/florist/theater reservations before it’s too late.
An alternative to the traditional Valentine’s Day money massacre is ArtHop, which happens to fall on V-Day this month. Lots of free art exhibits and special events in the works, with kickoff music by Joey Curtin and Friends and a scavenger hunt for found-object artworks by our pal Celeste White. Ought to be fun. Turtle Bay Exploration Park has big plans for next weekend as well, focusing on events for the kids. A highlight will be the Animal Parade on the park’s boardwalk at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. For details, click here.
