But first, a bit on Martin. The young artist has written a bundle of songs (more than 100) and is getting a lot of travel in (more than 500 shows across the country). To hear his stuff, click here. He certainly brings a poet’s sensibility to his songs. Excellent voice, too.
• Also Friday (but also Saturday night as well), Slam Buckra and the Groove Palookas with Thom Berry on harmonica are playing at Pio Loco restaurant (1135 Pine St. in Redding).
