Seen at a Chinese restaurant, scribbled on a whiteboard advertising the daily specials:
FISH HAT POT
I try to figure this out. Is the pot shaped like a hat? Do the fish in the pot wear hats? Is it a pot full of castoff fish hats? Omigod, is it that fish from Dr. Seuss? Red fish, blue fish, fish in a hat. Didn’t it go something like that? Would I dare order a cartoon fish?
Then I decipher that the sign says FISH HOT POT.
Oh. Never mind.
