A Battle for $25,000 in Cash & Prizes at the Cascade
Venture Island North State brings real life drama as local entrepreneurs battle for the top prize
(Redding, CA) The third episode of Venture Island, a three month competition to identify the most innovative companies in our region, will take place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, October 16th at the Cascade Theatre in Redding. The audience will vote for their favorite and the winning business will receive $25,000 in cash and prizes!
In this third competition, Make or Break Beach, the remaining seven contestants will be grilled by local business leaders who will ultimately select the winners along with the audience choices. The contestants must answer some of the most critical questions relating to generating sales – the fuel for a growing company. Only three will move on the final competition on November 6th.
The evening will include the presentation, “Words of Wisdom for CEOs: Top 10 Lessons Learned for Growing Companies” by Roger Akers, Managing Partner of Akers Capital LLC.
This fast-paced event is designed to recognize and reward the value of homegrown entrepreneurship to our local economy. The Venture Island North State is an excellent opportunity to network with key professionals, venture capitalists and angel investors.
