Posted on August 4, 2008 by Ron Largent

Library is no place for vagrants

Posted on July 16, 2008 by Ron Largent

Recently I visited the new Redding Library about 3 p.m. As I approached the library (which, by the way, is a great place), I noticed a whole bunch of folks sitting around outside the front entrance. Many were just there,… Continue Reading →

Posted on June 29, 2008 by Ron Largent

A number of folks have been asking, “When is Trader Joe’s coming to Redding?” Good question. I drove by Hilltop and Browning and saw walls going up, but still had some questions. The most accurate answer I got was from… Continue Reading →

In reply to Flounders. Good to know about parsley. And I am impressed (jealous) about your tarragon returning after winter. You're correct about it doing best in partial shade. It's delicate. (I can't remember where I bought the Mexican tarragon, but it's STURDY and loves full sun.)
