Turtle Bay is gearing up to host a brand new exhibition: Toytopia, from Stage Nine Exhibit Design! From September 20th toJanuary 7th, the Exploration Hall and East End of the museum will be filled with a reminisce-inducing exhibition focusing on the past century of toy making. Kids of all ages are sure to have fun while connecting with the toys of their parents’ and grandparents’ generations, while adults can remember and enjoy what they had while growing up.
Toytopia will include a wide variety of elements to appeal to all ages, such as the world’s largest Etch-A-Sketch, the “Big Piano” as seen in the movie “Big”, a Zoltar fortune telling machine, a HASBRO feature area, model train sets, and several interactive building areas with Lincoln Logs, Legos and Keva Planks. There will also be fantastic photo opportunities with a Captain Rex Stormtrooper and an oversized Monopoly car and board. The Monopoly board is on display now at Turtle Bay, as a preview until the exhibit opens on September 20th.
This interactive, educational, and fun exhibit is included in the price of admission to Turtle Bay and, as always, is free for members. Toytopia is supported by Timberline Heating & Air Conditioning, Dutch Bros. Coffee – The Resner Family, and national sponsors Keva Planks, Mindware, HASBRO, Duncan, Ohio Art, Crayola, K’Nex, Schylling, Schleich, and Hunter Railways.
