Corner Booth: Toilet Toons

Today, I’ve worked on two things other than my usual writing. I drew a “cartoon” to pay off my Super Bowl bet to Philbert “Point-spread” Fountain, and I fixed a leaky toilet. The proximity of these two tasks showed me several things:

1) Typing is easier than drawing.

2) Fixing a toilet is easier than drawing.

3) As a cartoonist, I’m a pretty good plumber.

4) I will do anything to avoid working on my new novel.

Anyhoo, we’ll send the purported cartoon to Philbert later today, and he’ll gleefully share it with the readers of A News Café. Stay tuned. And keep a plunger handy.
