SUSPECTS(S): Unknown

SYNOPSIS: On Friday 06-03-2011, morning at 0604 hours (6:04 a.m.), Eugene Rand reported a burglary had occurred at his residence. On Thursday 06-02-2011 night at approximately 2130 hours (9:30 p.m.), he heard a noise outside of his residence and after investigating he was unable to locate anything out of the ordinary. Later, he used his laptop computer until approximately 2230 hours(10:30 p.m.), when he went to bed.

At approximately 0600 hours (6 a.m.) this morning, he awoke to find that entry had been made into his residence through a broken bathroom window. As he slept, approximately $100 was taken from his wallet, which had been on the dresser beside his bed. A laptop computer and a key ring were taken from the residence, along with a 1970 Honda Motorcycle and a 2009 Toyota Matrix, which were both parked outside of the location. The motorcycle was later located parked in front of a neighboring residence just down the street. However, the Toyota is still missing.

Further investigation revealed that at least three more neighbors had been victims of theft from their unlocked vehicles. The suspects had attempted to gain entry to at least one more residence; however, they were scared off by barking dogs.
