CURRENT SITUATION
• We had 31 cases Wednesday, including 14 men and 17 women:
– 2 teenagers
– 8 people in their 20s
– 5 people in their 30s
– 2 people in their 40s
– 5 people in their 50s
-2 people in their 60s
– 3 people in their 70s
– 4 people in their 80s
• We are sorry to report four deaths today. They were three men in their 80s and a man over age 89.
• SECOND DOSE CLINICS:
If you got your shot Jan. 16 at Benton Airpark: Get your second dose Saturday, Feb. 13, at the Shasta District Fairgrounds in Anderson. This will be a drive-through clinic. Please arrive by last name: A-G, 10-11:30 a.m.; H-M, 11:30-1 p.m.; N-S, 1-2:30 p.m.; T-Z, 2:30-4 p.m.
If you got your shot Jan. 18 or 19 at Shasta Community Health Center: Get your second dose Saturday, Feb. 20. Times and location to be announced Tuesday.
You must bring your CDC card that shows the date of your first vaccine.
• To sign up for your first dose: Go to www.ShastaReady.org, select Vaccinations, and click the blue oval, “Tell me when it’s my turn.” Public Health will contact you when they have an appointment available. It may be several weeks, as supply is still limited.
• Shasta County is closed Friday, Feb. 12, for Lincoln’s Birthday and Monday, Feb. 15, for Presidents’ Day. The next daily update will be released Tuesday, Feb. 16.
