A new website has launched in Redding, aimed at disseminating information about medical marijuana collectives and creating a sort of MySpace for local users.
The site, created by local webmaster Baran Galocy, is just getting started, but there is some info there worth checking out. You have to become a “member” to see some sections, but membership is free.
Probably the most valuable asset at the site so far is a Google map that shows most of the medical marijuana collectives in the area. A lot of the “news” is outdated stuff you could easily round up in a quick Google search. Still, it’s nice that someone’s trying to create a community for the booming population of medical marijuana patients.
