Shasta College’s Spring Play “Fuddy Meers”

The Shasta College Theatre’s Spring production of Fuddy Meers will take you on a dramatic roller coaster ride where nothing, and no one, is as they seem!

A zany comedy with a dark domestic drama woven throughout the story, Fuddy Meers shows you a world of oddball characters caught up in the chaotic whirlwind of their lives. Amnesiac Claire is stolen from her bedroom and struggles to discover the secrets of her past—while contending with a pursuing husband, lisping brother, and a foul-mouthed puppet! Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire has crafted a play about pain, identity, miscommunication, and, ultimately, the courageous confrontation of a traumatic past.

Performance dates are March 8th, 9th, 14th, 15th, and 16th at 7pm in the Shasta College Theatre. Sunday matinees are offered on March 10th and 17th at 2pm, with ASL interpretation available on the 10th. Tickets are available now at www.shastacollege.edu/tickets or in the theatre box office 1 hour prior to the start of the performance.

This production is directed by Dr. Gregory Thorson with David Fraser as the set designer, lighting by Tim Dye, costumes by Hilary Fahey, and hair and makeup by Matthew McDonald. For more information, please call the theatre box office at 530-242-7573.
