“West Coast Live,” the popular radio variety show, is coming back to Redding’s Cascade Theatre.
The weekly show, which originates in the San Francisco Bay Area, features host Sedge Thomson and an assortment of guests, including musicians, authors, artists, politicians and celebrities. The show has been around for 15 years, and it last broadcast from Redding in 2004 as part of the Cascade Theatre’s grand opening.
The new show will be at 4 p.m. on Nov. 8. It’ll be taped live for broadcast at a later date, as will a Nov. 9 show at an Oregon Shakespeare Festival theater in Ashland. Tickets are $15 in advance. For more information, click here.
“West Coast Live” hasn’t announced the guests for the shows yet, but they regularly update the schedule on their website here.
The shows are hosted by Jefferson Public Radio, which broadcasts “West Coast Live” at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
