Ballots for the November 5, 2024, Presidential Election will be in the mail beginning Monday, October 7, 2024. According to California Election Code 3000.5(a) ballots must be mailed out 29 days prior to election. 29 Days before this election falls exactly on Monday, October 7, 2024.
County Voter Information Guides are mailed separately from ballots and have started going out in the mail. Shasta County voters who receive a ballot, but not a county Voter Information Guide should know that since the ballot and guide are mailed separately, they may not arrive at the same time.
If you would like to view your county information guide as soon as possible, you can do so online at elections.shastacounty.gov/presidential-general-election-november-5-2024.
Please be aware that you must have your ballot to know which version of the county voter information guide to view. A printed copy can be obtained at our office on 1643 Market Street in downtown Redding, by request.
Early voting also begins Monday, October 7, 2024. The only Early Voting location in Shasta County is our Elections office on 1643 Market Street in downtown Redding. Beginning October 7, 2024, our Market Street office will be open weekdays from 8am to 5pm and Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 9am to 3pm.
