“You Can’t Take it with You” Coming to Shasta College Theatre

The Shasta College fall play will be the family-friendly romantic comedy and Broadway smash hit, “You Can’t Take it with You” written by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart. Kaufman and Hart’s quirky and lovable comedy won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1936 and was adapted into a feature film that won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1938. This show is a “G-rated,” family-friendly comic romp, suitable for all ages.

Evening performances will be on October 14, 15, 20, 21, and 22 at 7:00 p.m. at the Shasta College theatre on the main Redding Campus. Matinée performances will be on October 16 and 23 with a start time of 2:00 p.m. General Admission tickets are $15, senior citizens 65 and up are $10, and students, or those under 18, can enjoy the show for only $5/ticket.
