• Shasta County remains in the purple (“widespread”) tier. Our adjusted case rate increased from 39.8 to 41.6 daily cases per 100,000 residents. The actual case rate is 40.8, but for the first time, it was adjusted up because the county’s per capita testing volume is lower than the state average. Our positivity rate remained at 9.7%. • Testing is now available in Enterprise, Anderson, Shasta Lake City and South Redding, in addition to Shasta College. Go to www.ShastaReady.org and click on “Get Tested” to make an appointment.
