Attention NORTHSTATE CALIFORNIA filmmakers of all ages. In conjunction with the upcoming PBS series, The Age of Nature, airing October 14, 21 and 28, KIXE PBS is hosting a nature themed online film festival. Whether it’s a revealing documentary, a tense drama or a slapstick comedy, film makers are asked to submit films that answer one of these questions in any style they wish:

1. What have our past mistakes taught us about nature
2. How is our understanding of nature changing the way we live?
3. As the challenges we face mount, where are we heading next?

Submission notables:

• All work must be an original film – 3 minutes or less
• Eligible films must be all-age appropriate
• Film Makers will be judged in two separate age groups
– Middle School and younger
