Current Situation:

• Shasta County has 2 new positive cases. One is a woman in her 70s who is isolated at home and had no symptoms. The other is a man in his 70s who is isolated at home and did have symptoms.

• Now that people are spending more time in public, we encourage everyone to get tested for COVID-19. If you have symptoms, contact your healthcare provider or call Shasta County Public Health at (530) 225-5591. If you don’t have symptoms, go to https://lhi.care/covidtesting. Appointments are required.

• Since COVID-19 began, people have deferred non-emergency medical care, including vaccinations for children and health screenings. We encourage people to seek out that important preventive healthcare.
