Current Situation:

• Shasta County has no new cases.

•We are still in Stage 2. Gov. Gavin Newsom announced today that the state will be postingguidance on how to move into Stage 3 soon.

•Employers are encouraged to have safe and healthy environments for employees andpatrons by observing state guidance for reopening, such as use of cloth face coverings andregular employee COVID-19 testing. As more businesses open, there’s more risk for staffand customers.

• Anyone can get tested for COVID-19. If you have symptoms, contact your healthcare provider or call Shasta County Public Health at (530) 225-5591. If you don’t have symptoms, go to https://lhi.care/covidtesting. Appointments are required.

•Please remember that non-essential travel is prohibited. Gatherings are still not allowed inCalifornia, except in places of worship and for the purposes of protest, with modifications.
