Shasta County Accepting Donations for Medical Community

The medical community in Shasta County is in need of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Due to this need, a donation point for these items was established at Bethel Church Redding (933 College View Drive), on behalf of the Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency and in collaboration with Shasta Tehama Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster.

Donations will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday beginning on Thursday, March 26, 2020, and will continue until further notice. If you have any of the items listed below, please bring them to be donated to local medical facilities across the county. Donations will be dropped off via a contactless method.

At this time, only the following items are being accepted:
• N95 Masks – No Respirators
• Surgical Masks
• Face Shields
• Clear Safety Goggles
• Thermometers
• Nitrile Gloves
• Healthcare Medical Gowns
• Sanitation Cloths
• Toilet Paper
• Paper Towels

Donation Drop Off Hours:
Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
