North State Symphony Cancels All Performances

The North State Symphony performs in Red Bluff on Friday, December 13, and in Redding on Saturday, December 14.

Dear NSS patrons and friends:
Out of sensitivity to our communities and the COVID-19 situation,
ALL performances of NSS POPS “Our Expanding Universe”
have been cancelled.
The safety and well-being of everyone who attends concerts and events is always a top priority for the performing arts industry. In partnership with the public engagement team at CSU, Chico, the North State Symphony has been proactively monitoring the rapidly evolving situation with COVID-19, and are taking steps to help keep our north state community safe.
As a preventative measure and following the guidelines from Butte, Tehama, and Shasta County Public Health, California Department of Public Health, and California State University, the North State Symphony will be cancelling the following concerts:
  • Saturday, April 4 – NSS POPS: Our Expanding Universe (State Theatre, Red Bluff)
  • Saturday, April 4 – NSS POPS: Our Expanding Universe (Cascade Theatre, Redding)
  • Sunday, April 5 – NSS POPS: Our Expanding Universe (Laxson Auditorium, Chico)
As cancellations of performances and events become widespread in the wake of COVID-19, financial impact on arts and cultural organizations is becoming a difficult reality. If you’d like to support the mission of the arts during this unprecedented time, please consider exchanging your tickets for a performance later in our season, or donating your tickets (or their value) to the North State Symphony.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to our office. Thank you for your understanding and continued support of the North State Symphony and our community. We wish everyone good health and safety.
