Axiom Repertory Theatre has made the decision to follow the directives of local, state and federal health agencies. We highly value our patrons and Company members, and want to assure you that we are doing everything within our power to help protect everyone’s health and safety as we continue in our efforts to create and present theatre for our constituency.
Therefore, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our upcoming production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, until such a time as this emergency passes. We are hopeful that we will be able to premiere this stunning production in the very near future and will honor all previously purchased tickets for any future dates.
We have also come to the similarly difficult decision to cancel our upcoming production of Oklahoma! Again, we will honor any tickets held for this show for either a future production, or to any other upcoming show staged by Axiom.
We are soon meeting with other presenting Theatrical organizations who have also had their productions adversely affected. We all expect to bring our productions online very soon, and want to make sure that any children who were going to appear in Cascade’s production of Matilda, now rescheduled for June, will also be able to participate in Axiom’s Summer Children’s Theatre Festival and our culminating production of Madagscar, Jr. We will have more information on the Children’s Festival, Axiom’s rescheduling of shows, information on our planned summer repertory season, Season 5, our General Auditions and more, as events unfold.
In the meantime, we want to thank you from the bottom of our heart for supporting Axiom Repertory Theatre! We very much appreciate your patronage and understanding as we all navigate our way through this time of relative uncertainty. And if you’ve ever considered making a financial donation to Axiom, we could really use your support now more than ever. We rely primarily on ticket sales, concession sales, and your gifts to make ends meet. Thank you for considering us during this time.
On behalf of Axiom Repertory Theatre’s Executive Board, I remain,
Ken Hill, President and CEO
