On Friday, September 6, Enjoy Movies in the Park will be at the Redding
Civic Auditorium lawn to show Eric Leslie’s world premiere documentary about Redding’s own Ryan Spitz and California Untamed.
In June of this year, Spitz ran the first California Untamed — 330 miles — from Arcata to Mount Shasta in a five-night, six-day adventure. This documentary will give you a glimpse into what you can expect as this team promotes the California Untamed “Get Primal” endurance race that will take place July 17-25, 2020.
Come early and meet Spitz, Leslie and the crew, and enjoy music, games, and tasty refreshments from several local food trucks before the movie. Then sit back and be amazed by the incredible scenery, breathtaking views, and the beauty of the North State as you watch Spitz’s awe-inspiring grit. Activities will begin at 6:00 pm and the movie will start at (approximately) 8:15 pm.
Bring a blanket and/or lawn chairs and enjoy the movie under the stars.
