The Shasta College Horticulture Department and the Master Gardeners of Shasta County will hold a Fall Gardening Workshop for local gardeners on October 19, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the 4000 building on the Shasta College Farm.
The workshop will include a variety of displays and information on food preservation, composting, seed starting for fall and winter crops, backyard chickens, preparing soils for next year’s garden, dormant spraying of fruit trees and much more.
The workshop is $5.00 and no prior registration is required.
