2nd Annual Mid-Summer Community Benefit Concert

The 2nd annual Mid-Summer Community Benefit Concert features a superb line-up of local musicians offering an evening of Jazz and Americana music as well as songs that reflect the good vibes of summer!

The event takes place in the First Church “backyard” and includes scrumptious appetizers, delicious desserts and a variety of outdoor games and activities for all ages!  Bring your friends and neighbors, co-workers and colleagues for an unforgettable evening of music, appetizers, desserts, games, and conversation! Let’s build community together!

All proceeds will benefit 4 organizations and programs that are making a positive difference in our community and world:

Faithworks: A local non-profit ministry that oversees two transitional supportive housing programs for homeless families with children and homeless veterans.

SEACM (Southeast Asian Christian Ministry): A local non-profit organization dedicated to welcoming refugees and immigrants of all nationalities, and assisting them in becoming healthy, productive members of our community.

Genocide No More-Save Darfur: A local ecumenical group who have been working to raise awareness and knowledge of the genocide in Darfur and the on-going genocide and ethnic cleansing in Sudan over the past 12 years.

Earth & Sea Art-Science Camp: This 2 week summer camp offers a rich curriculum of science and art for kids in Grades 2-8. Funds provide scholarships to local students
