Shasta Master Gardeners to hold a Spring Gardening workshop on March 24th, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Shasta College Farm, room 4000
Master Gardeners will be presenting University of California information and materials and leading participants in hands-on training. Attendees will be able to choose up to 4 workshops from the following topics: safe pesticide use, composting with worms, soil testing, how to read a soils report, raising bees in the backyard, seed starting, pest control with biological controls, and how to set up micro-irrigation system.
Participants will receive handouts and other gardening supplies. An attendance fee of $5.00 will be collected at the door.
