EVENT: 2017 Sundial Splash
LOCATION: Riverfront Park and Turtle Bay Boat Launch, 725 Auditorium Drive

The Sundial Splash is a community float and race down the Sacramento River for kayaks, rafts, canoes, paddleboards and anything else you can paddle down the river safely. Participants will launch from Riverfront Park (725 Auditorium Drive), immediately upstream of the Sundial Bridge.
The flotilla of fun will proceed downriver to the Reginato River Access at So. Bonnyview Road, a distance of roughly 6 miles. At the conclusion, participants will enjoy live music, food trucks, and check their equipment safely while they relax. Return transportation by the Redding Area Bus Authority (RABA) to Riverfront Park is free for all registered participants. As a special bonus, the first 200 paid participants will receive a SealLine dry bag filled with goodies ($20 value)! Ticket prices are $20 for adult and $10 for youth (5-15).
This fundraiser will support youth-focused activities in the greater Shasta County area, such as Lions Camp for Kids with Diabetes, MLK Center activities through Redding Recreation, YMCA/Lions Camp Horizon-for foster children and other youth activities. Corporate, business and individual financial support is appreciated to insure the success, donations are tax deductible.
