In the spirit of the holiday season, the Friends of Whiskeytown, Inc. will be hosting a canned food drive at the Whiskeytown National Recreation Area Old Time Holiday event planned for Saturday, December 3rd, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Donated food items will go to the Redding Veteran’s Resource Center, which provides a wide range of programs to address the unique needs of veterans in the Redding area. The Friends of Whiskeytown ask donors to please bring non-perishable food items only, as refrigeration will not be available at the event.
