On September 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., Shasta College will be unveiling a sculpture at the Tehama Campus on Diamond Avenue in Red Bluff. The sculpture, created by area artist James Phillips, is titled “Seeking Order”. The campus community and the public are invited to the Unveiling Ceremony.
“Seeking Order” consists of three concrete columns, 8 feet tall and 12 inches square. The three columns represent the Arts, the Humanities, and the Sciences. Each column holds 32 individual, low-relief compositions that represent the educational sub-disciplines that work together in the search for order, referenced in the title.
