This year, AARP Foundation Tax-Aide, the nation’s largest free, volunteer-run tax assistance preparation service, is seeking volunteers for tax assistance/preparation and Client Facilitator positions. The season runs February 1 through April 15 but there are comprehensive training classes in January with support from the IRS and California Franchise Tax Board.
Free tax assistance is provided for low and moderate income individuals with special attention to those 60 and older.
