Whiskeytown Theft Case

Whiskeytown National Recreation Area would like to request the assistance of the local community in identifying two suspects involved in a theft of items from a vehicle that occurred on June 22, 2016.

Through our investigation, surveillance cameras show a man and woman making fraudulent transactions at businesses in Redding and Anderson. They were both seen together at the locations. They drove a dark green 4-door Honda Accord (EX) with a sunroof.

Anyone with information these suspects are encouraged to call the investigating Officer at (530) 242-3416. Any information is greatly appreciated and callers can remain anonymous if desired, although a callback number is very helpful if we need clarification.

The National Park Service encourages all park visitors to always lock your vehicle, please don’t leave valuables in your vehicle, and report any suspicious activity immediately by calling 911 or Whiskeytown Dispatch at (530) 242-3431.
