UPDATE: On May 13th 2016, at around 4:17 a.m., Julius Lane returned to his residence on his own. Lane had been previously reported as a missing person by his family after he walked away from his residence and did not return. As always, the Redding Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in this investigation.
On today’s date at approximately 2:55 p.m., family members reported that Julius Lane, 71 years of Redding, was missing. Mr. Lane, who suffers from dementia, left his home located on Guinevere Court on foot. He was last seen by family members at approximately 9:00 a.m. and has not been seen since.
Mr. Lane is described as a white male adult who is 5’ 3” and weighs approximately 135 pounds. He has grey hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and grey gym shoes.
The Redding Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Mr. Lane. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact (530) 225-4200.
