On Friday, April 29 and Saturday, April 30th the Shasta College Symphonic Band, conducted by Dr. Larry Grandy will perform its Spring 2016 concerts in the Shasta College Theater at 7:30 pm. This large ensemble consists of approximately 135 members and is a true community band representing the tri-county area of Shasta College, a variety of occupations, and a wide range of ages. The concerts are created for the entire family and all ages to enjoy and only cost $3.00. This semester is the 37th anniversary of the band. These two evenings of back-to-back concerts will include movie soundtracks, Broadway musicals, marches, musical surprises, and a wide variety of music. An effervescent and exciting musical atmosphere permeates this ensemble’s concerts.
