Why: General Manager, Mike Lampella has issued the challenge! For every $3,000 dollars raised in donations to KIXE in the next two weeks he will eliminate one day of our August membership drive so viewers can watch their favorite PBS shows without interruption.
How it works: You can go online to www.kixe.org and make a secure donation through the website, call the station at 243-5493 or send a check in the mail. Starting Monday, July 27th we’ll keep track of all monies raised and earmark them as part of Mike’s Membership Challenge. If the generous viewers in the North State can spread the word and raise $27,000 in two weeks the drive will be cancelled! The challenge ends August 7th.
