Healthier Living Workshop Offered

Living with or caring for someone who has chronic conditions can be difficult.  The Healthier Living workshops are designed to educate individuals and promote self-management of any chronic disease.  Attendance is open for anyone age 18 and over with an ongoing health condition, family  members or friends of someone with an ongoing health condition, and anyone interested in becoming more physically and socially active.

 Workshops are two and a half hours, once a week for 6 weeks.  During this time individuals will learn how to better manage their health conditions, reduce fatigue, anxiety, sleep loss and pain, communicate better with doctors, family and friends, and set goals and problem solve to make positive life changes.  After completion of the workshop series, individuals are able to improve their understanding of their condition and be able to better self-manage symptoms of their disease.

    My son is suffering a lot due to dental pain. We contacted a dentist from Thornhill, and he suggested teeth restoration. I hope the workshop mentioned here can help him to manage his pain and health conditions.
