The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office began conducting an investigation into a shooting that occurred in Mountain Gate on 08/16/2014, Saturday. The victim has been identified by the Shasta County Coroner’s Office as Marshall Quinn Bernatt of Redding. A postmortem examination was conducted this morning by the Coroner’s Office.
