On July 14, 2014 at 10:17 a.m., Officers of the Redding Police Department located John Nicholas Delevati (DOB 02/15/85 of Redding) in the driveway of 2360 Sacramento Dr. Delevati was wanted on two outstanding warrants. Delevati fled on foot when he saw officers in the area. A perimeter was set up and an extensive search was conducted of the residence at 2360 Sacramento Dr. and the surrounding neighborhood by Redding Police Department officers and CHP helicopter. After the search Delevati was eventually located hiding inside of 2320 Sacramento Dr. and surrendered to officers. Delevati was taken into custody and arrested without further incident.
Delevati was transported to the Shasta County Jail where he was booked on his warrants.
