The timing of this class could not be better!

With the defeat of Proposition 8 and legalization of gay marriage the wedding industry is about to boom.

The gay/lesbian/bi/transgendered community all in all tends to be well educated and hold higher income jobs.

This is a community of people who have money. They want to spend it, and will!

Just like straight people, gay want to have wedding and commitment ceremonies with family and friends attending. The demand is there, and in fact it has been pent up for years.

If our community was smart, we would make Shasta County the gay wedding capital of the state if not the nation.

They are going to spend their money somewhere – why not here?
