SYNOPSIS:
On 01/02/2013, Wednesday, the Shasta County Coroner’s Office identified Lee Roy Thibault as the decedent in a shooting that occurred on 01/01/2013, Tuesday, at approximately 2003 hours. A post mortem examination is scheduled for Friday, 01/04/2013. At this time there is no further information available.
This is an ongoing investigation by the Shasta County Sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit. Detective Sergeant Steve Grashoff will provide further details at a later date.
