Mercy Medical Center Redding Presents Living Well With Diabetes

Join Mercy Medical Center Redding’s Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Center and the Mercy Heart Center for classes designed to provide a comprehensive overview of diabetes. These classes are for diabetics, their families and other interested individuals. A range of topics will be discussed during the sessions including:

  • Blood Glucose Monitoring
  • Complications of High and Low blood sugar
  • How diabetes affects the body
  • Symptoms
  • Foot care
  • Medications
  • Meal Planning

Course Coordinators- Diabetic Educator Tammy Fuller, RN & Paige Jones, RD. 4 CE’s available for nursing (attendance at both Monday classes is mandatory for credit).

What: Living Well with Diabetes class
When: Mondays, Oct 3 & 10, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Where: Mercy Medical Center’s lower level auditoriums, 2175 Rosaline Ave, Redding, CA
Cost: Free, but space is limited so pre-registration is required.
