SYNOPSIS:
On 12/01/10 Shasta County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies MacGregor and Randall obtained both a search warrant and an arrest warrant for Sean Fisch, age 38, of Redding, CA. The victim, a female juvenile, reported that on 11/29/10 she was in need of a ride from a Redding gas station. The victim further related that Fisch offered to give her a ride. Once the victim was in the vehicle, the suspect proceeded on his route as a delivery driver for the Record Searchlight. The suspect proceeded east of Redding to a remote area and made sexual advances toward the victim. When the victim refused the suspect’s sexual advances she was held against her will and assaulted. The victim was able to free herself and jump from the vehicle and ran to a payphone and called 911. The Sheriff’s Office is asking any possible witnesses or victims of similar crimes to contact the Major Crimes Division. Fisch is being held on $100,000.00 bail at the Shasta County Jail.
