A $10,000 reward is being offered by Secret Witness and an anonymous source for information leading to the arrest of Charles Berlinghoff and the return of his 15-year-old niece, Jean Marie Berlinghoff of Redding, the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office reported this afternoon.
Charles Berlinghoff, 44, of Los Angeles is wanted on suspicion of detainment or concealment of child from the legal custodian. He and Jean Berlinghoff disappeared Nov. 10, her family members said.
Secret Witness and an anonymous source have each offered up to $5,000 for information. The sheriff’s office asks anyone with information to contact Secret Witness at 530-243-2313 or go to the website at http://www.scsecretwitness.com/.
