Celebrating their 15th year together, the Celtic/Folk/World music duo, of Aodh Og O’Tuama from Cork, Ireland and Christy Martin from California, tour and live on the road in the U.S. and Ireland as the bardic minstrels of old. www.fourshillingsshort.com
Quite a few years ago these players gave up paying rent, sold all their furniture, packed their 30 or more instruments into a van and took to the road, and have been traveling across the U.S. and UK since. They play everything from the expected guitars and pipes to the hammered dulcimer, bowed psaltry, sitar and even the spoons. They tell stories, play a wide variety of music, and really shouldn’t be missed.
