Trinity County’s Dutch Oven Cookoff is hosted by the Trinity County Historical Society. Proceeds benefit a special Historical Society fund. The public is invited to taste and judge the “gold rush” themed dutch oven culinary creations in three categories: main dish, bread and dessert. Judging is based on theme, beauty/order, visual impact and creativity.

Visitors to the Dutch Oven Cook-Off can venture across the street to the Salmon Festival at the Highland Art Center and a blacksmithing course at the Jake Jackson Memorial Museum.
