Conductor Kyle Wiley Pickett will give a free pre-concert talk before the Redding and Chico concerts one hour before the concerts begin.
Jon Manasse will be making two special appearances in Chico prior to the concerts. On Thursday morning, May 13, he will conduct a master class for clarinet students, which is open to interested members of the public. On Friday afternoon, May 14 at 3:30, Manasse and Kyle Pickett will make a joint presentation at the Terraces Retirement Community, and the public is invited.
