Get outta town this weekend and experience some of the events that the North State has to offer. This week’s Get Outta Town highlight is Paula Poundstone at CSU Chico’s Laxson Auditorium.
Appearing on stage with a stool, a microphone and a can of Diet Pepsi, Paula Poundstone is famous for her razor-sharp wit and spontaneity. A mainstay on NPR’s quirky weekly news program, “Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me,” Poundstone is a master of improvisation and audience interaction, so much so that audience members at her live shows often think the random people she responds to are “plants” (they’re not!).
