Get ‘Wild’ with the Shasta Land Trust

wildways-1

On Saturday, the Shasta Land Trust kicks off its “Wildways” fundraiser, a series of special events throughout the year, from guided nature hikes, to winery tours, to “waffles and wildflowers,” benefiting the Shasta Land Trust and its programs.

Shasta Land Trust was founded in 1998 as a non-profit organization dedicated to permanently conserve open space, wildlife habitat and agricultural land.

Shasta Land Trust has been successful with many conservation accomplishments, and continues to work towards meaningful and lasting land protection for our region.

Each of the Wildways “parties” is hosted by a local business owner or group of experts, and often allows party guests special access to private property or one-on-one time with a popular teacher, chef or guide.

Saturday’s Wildways kick-off event is the first opportunity to buy a space in one of the “parties.” (Many of them sell out that night.)

The Kickoff party also features music from “The Sidemen,” aka the “Shasta Land Trust Wilderness Band,” featuring Scott Joss, an auction featuring works from local artists and businesses, and refreshments provided by Shasta Land Trust volunteers and supporters.

This year, when you purchase your ticket to the Kickoff, you will be assigned a “place in line” to purchase tickets to Wildways events, so buy your ticket to the kickoff early.
