Mary Chase’s 1945 Pulitzer Prize-winning play “Harvey” has one more weekend of performances to go at the Center for Spiritual Living.
The heartwarming show, produced by Donna Stobie and directed by Richard Stobie, stars Brian Bisetti as Elwood P. Dowd, Jennifer Levens as Veta Louise Simmons and Brittany Williams as Myrtle Mae Simmons.
In the play, Dowd makes friends with a spirit or pooka taking the form of a human-sized rabbit named Harvey — that only he sees.
Elwood and Harvey become the catalysts for a family mending its wounds and for romance blossoming in unexpected places.
The Dramatists’ play opened July 24. The last three performances are at 7:30 p.m. July 31 and Aug. 1, and the final show is Aug. 2 at 3 p.m.
Tickets cost $10. To purchase, call 221-4849.
The Center for Spiritual Living is at 1905 Hartnell Ave. in Redding.
