Contributors to The Hot Air Quarterly will be reading their work at Pacific West Graphics during the July 11 ArtHop starting at 7 pm. Readers include: Peter Wright, Bill Siemer, Celeste White, Jim Dowling, Larry Greco Harris, Kimberly Carlson, and Sorca O’Connor. Special guest is contributor Clark Beek, who was profiled in the January ’09 issue of Latitude 38 after successfully completing his nine-year circumnavigation of the globe in his 40 ft. ketch. He survived the Christmas tsunami in Thailand, getting run over by a container ship off the coast of Brazil (body-surfing the bow wave of the ship when he jumped off his boat), and sailing around Cape Horn. Readers will be available for a Q&A session after the reading.
