A firm based in Redding and Las Vegas will do lighting for the halftime show at the Super Bowl. Morpheus Lights, on Caterpillar Road in Redding, for years has been the lighting company for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, which will perform at the big game Feb. 1. How cool is that? - DVDs We’ve Seen: “Off the Map” with Joan Allen and Sam Elliott. A melancholy but hopeful little film about back-to-the-land types living in rural New Mexico. The landscape is stark and beautiful, and the acting is understated and superb.
